TRI-TOWN RECREATION MISSION STATEMENT

is to provide elementary age children opportunities to learn and enjoy a variety of sports and recreation by learning fundamental skills, teamwork and a love of the game, through participation.

PHILOSOPHY

  • Provide an equal opportunity for all
  • Teach fundamental skills
  • Promote teamwork
  • Physical and mental challenges
  • Enjoyment and desire to play the game
  • Show commitment and responsibility
  • Provide positive role models

Equal opportunity does not translate into equal playing time as many factors are considered.

Dedication and hard work get rewarded more than skill level.

A successful team is one in which every member improves as a player and person. Winning is important, however, it is not the most important part of success; it is only part of the journey.
