Rescue 2 carries extrication equipment (jaws of life), cutters & spreaders, cribbing. Scene lighting is provided with an on board generator. Water rescue equipment, ropes, self contained breathing apparatus, rear & front mounting winch, AED (heart monitor/defib), CO detector and multiple hand tools are all on board.
Engine 2 - 1000 g.p.m. Pumper with 1000 gallons of water on board. Seats 5, with 3 Self Contained Breathing Apparatus attached. 150' of 1-3/4" pre-connected attack line on front bumper, 200' of 1-3/4" cross lays behind the cab, a deck gun and 200' of 3" pre-connect to a blitz-gun attached to the rear. It also carries 1000' of 4" supply hose, chimney fire equipment, thermo image camera and CO detector, 2-24' extension ladders,12' closet ladder, gasoline powered hydraulic and water pumps and Scene lighting .

Ladder 48 - 105ft aerial with a 1500gpm pump, 500 gallon tank. Has a large selection of ground ladders as well as a set of hydraulic extrication tools. An onboard diesel generator to power scene lighting and cord reels for remote power. Seats 8 people and also carries additional technical rescue equipment to supplement rescue 2.
Mutual Aid - Franconia Fire Department is part of Twin State Mutual Aid. On a first alarm, Sugar Hill, Easton and Bethlehem are on automatic.
Life Squad - is dispatched for all emergency calls.
