The Franconia Police Department is proud to serve the community of Franconia by building trusting and cohesive community relationships through transparency, accountability, participation and engagement in our Town.  Through our best discretion we will uphold the laws of the State of New Hampshire with honesty and integrity so that our citizens live in a safe, prosperous, culturally rich community and in doing so we will protect and improve the quality of all of our lives.

Vision Statement:
  • We strive to build trust by taking every opportunity to treat people with kindness, dignity and respect.
  • We will work to build cohesiveness in our community by reaching out to individuals, organizations, and businesses; to find ways to partner for the betterment of Franconia.
  • We will be transparent by sharing information when we ethically can and as legally permissible.  We will work hard to show the reasoning behind our thoughts and actions so that the gap between residents and the department is small and easily crossed.
  • We will participate in our town by volunteering our time in and out of uniform and by taking part in its many exciting events.
  • We will be honest in our words and deeds, through our consistent honesty we will display integrity.
  • We will put ourselves in harm's way in order to protect our citizens and visitors from that which would hurt them, and we will work to create a safe and harmonious community in which to live, grow and raise a family.
